We helped draft, organize, and fine-tune the successful grant proposal for the Discovering the Enviroment through Education and Recreation program which enhances the lives of San Luis Obispo County youth by providing outdoor educational opportunities that build a platform for preservation and protection of our natural resources and ensure future park patrons.

We worked with San Luis Obispo County Parks staff to produce a compelling document for the Hind Foundation based on Jon O’Brien’s “Seven C’s” organizational principle for grants from Right Before You Write. The San Luis Obispo Parks, Open Space, and Trails (SLOPOST) group funded the grant writing. This project holds great meaning for us personally as it does for the Hind family; we feel fortunate to have helped fund this worthy program and to work with these generous people.
